Gerard lay out on his bed, Boo curled up on his chest as he stroked her absent mindedly. Raleigh would be here soon so she could take him out on a date, most of which she was keeping the details a surprise from him. Boo mewls quietly from her seconds before there is a knock on the door, Gerard raises his eyebrow impressed at his new doorbell system. Carefully so as not to startle the kitten, Gerard swings his legs off the bed before quickly padding over to the door. He manoeuvres Boo so he holds her in one arm, using the other to open the door and greet his girlfriend. He smiles warmly at her, taking a moment to simply savour her presence, before he leans forward to place a soft kiss on her lips. “You look as beautiful as ever Raleigh”With his spare hand he grabs onto Raleigh’s arm, pulling her gently into his room so she could wait in there as he finished getting ready. He closes the door behind them, following Raleigh towards his bed where he deposits Boo into her arms. He had gotten distracted by his cute fluffy kitten earlier so had never actually gotten around to putting his shoes and coat on, a job which he now rushed. “So Raleigh where to fir-” he looks up from tying the laces on his converse, halting mid-sentence when he catches sight of Raleigh snuggling and playing with Boo. His heart starts pumping achingly fast in his chest, realising just how lucky he was to have such an amazing girlfriend.
Raleigh smiled as Gerard plopped the tiny kitten into her arms. Boo emitted a small mewl as Raleigh touched her nose to Boo’s and Raleigh couldn’t help but giggle. The ball of fur was just too cute and Raleigh was glad that Boo was the one she brought home for Gerard. But knowing how much Gerard adored Boo was what made Raleigh truly happy. She thought that surprising Gerard with a kitten might have been… a bit too much, but he had taken it quite well and that was all that mattered. Raleigh noticed after a bit that Gerard had been talking to her and looked up at him. “Hmm? Sorry?” she asked, completely oblivious to the fact that he’d been staring at her.
She moved toward his bed and set Boo down on the covers and pulled Gerard up. “Well. I was thinking we could catch a movie in town. And then I’m taking you to two of my favorite places in Luxebridge,” Raleigh explained, pecking him on the cheek. She realized she was still gripping his hand, but it made no difference. She liked holding his hand. “So then. Shall we get goin’?” Raleigh asked with a smile.
